This is a picture of "Sensei" Fumio Demura and I taken at David Palumbo's Shotokan-Ryu Kai's hosting a series of weapons seminars taught by Demura Sensei in East Providence, Rhode Island on February 4th and 5th in 1995. Demura Sensei did seminars on the Bo, Sai, Kama, as well as a children's seminar on the Nunchaku. I was fortunate enough to have exclusive rights to film the seminars for my program, "Martial Arts Today Television." After a wonderful interview with Demura Sensei, we were also treated to a "impromptu" Kendo demonstration, which Demura Sensei assisted in as well. After being informed that Demura Sensei's mother had unfortunately been stricken with Altzheimer's disease, I took a copy of Demura Sensei with his mother, placed it at the end of the episode, and dedicated it to her. He is a Martial Arts Master and a loving son.
