This picture was taken at, 7th degree Black Belt, Doreen Cogliandro's (far right) school in Revere, MA during the 1998 East Coast IKKA Camp. Among those shown in the picture were Gilbert Velez-8th degree Black Belt, Norman Sandler-6th degree Black Belt, David Staples-4th degree Black Belt, Matthew Hayes, Sita Van-3rd degree Black Belt, and Sacco-2nd degree Black Belt. Unfortunately, I don't have all of he names of the people in the picture, but I will update it as soon as I get them.

This is a prime example of a group of individuals who strive to continue Senior Grandmaster Edmund K. Parker's legacy through the organization he created. Like the flame that is the centerpiece of the International Karate Championships logo, the IKKA seeks to "light a candle, rather than curse the darkness." In so doing, these events are open to all American Kenpoists regardless of organization affiliations. It is the hope that we can perpetuate the fraternity of Black Belts in this might art.
